RALEIGH, N.C. – To help raise money for a former assistant coach’s colon cancer medical treatments, the NC State women’s soccer team is hosting a charity camp on March 30 at the Wolfpack Training Center.
Admission for the camp is free, but the program is asking that attendees make donations to help cover former assistant coach Ben Pinkerton’s medical bills during his battle with colon cancer. Pinkerton was an assistant coach for the Wolfpack from 2005-08.
The camp will take place at the Wolfpack Training Center (400 Morrill Drive) from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. It is for both boys and girls aged 13 and under. The camp will feature a silent auction with all money raised going to assist with Pinkerton’s treatments. The following items (and more!) will be auctioned at the event:

Basketball autographed by the NCSU Women's basketball team and Coach Moore
