Track & Field Set For Two Weekend Meets

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State track and field team will compete in two separate one-day meets on Saturday Feb. 22, the Dennis Craddock Invitational and the Alex Wilson Invitational.

The Dennis Craddock Invitational, hosted by UNC, will take place in Chapel Hill, N.C. at the Eddie Smith Field House. The meet will feature 20 schools as well as several clubs and unattached runners. The Alex Wilson Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, will get underway at the Loftus Sports Center in South Bend, Ind. 

The two meets mark the final competition for the Wolfpack track & field team prior to the ACC Indoor Championships, held in Clemson, S.C. on Feb. 27 - March 1. State racked up two first-place finishes, two second-place finishes and 13 top-five finishes in its previous meet, the UCS Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C.
