State Women's Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The NC State women's soccer team has earned recognition for strong academic performance during the 2013-14 academic year, the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) announced recently.
The Wolfpack earned the team award for the third straight year and the 12th time since the 1990-2000 academic calendar. NC State was one of 861 teams (279 men, 582 women) to post a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
NC State finished the 2013-14 academic year with a 3.31 GPA, an improvement of 0.09 from the previous year.
Seniors Jessica Baity, Rachel Harris, Kasey Koballa and Julia Sandridge played a large role in leading the team to the award, as throughout their careers they posted a combined 3.52 GPA and spent 14 semesters on the Dean's List.
