NC State men's soccer landed Holden Fender and Zach Knudson on All-ACC teams, announced Thursday by Commissioner John Swofford.
"I'm pleased for both Holden and Zach," said NC State head coach Kelly Findley. "I think the honor is well-deserved. I'm looking forward to both of their future successes on and off the field."
Fender earned a spot on the All-ACC Third Team for his play in the Wolfpack midfield. The junior transfer collected four assists playing his second season for the Pack, after being named one of two team captains before the season.
Fender scored his first goal of the year in State's ACC Tournament match at Duke, putting the Wolfpack ahead 2-1 in the 89th minute.
Knudson captured a place on the ACC All-Freshmen Team alongside nine outstanding first-year performers. The freshman from Oakland, N.J. scored four goals and notched two assists in 2014.
Knudson's four goals tied him with Michael Bajza, Yanni Hachem, and Nick Surkamp for the team lead. His 10 points rank tied for second on the squad.
