Wolfpack Plays at No. 21 Clemson Saturday Night

RALEIGH - The NC State women's soccer team returns to action on Saturday night, traveling south to take on No. 21 Clemson. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Riggs Field.

GAINING EXPERIENCE
The Wolfpack has received contributions from 12 different freshmen or sophomores this season including a team-high 1,559 minutes from sophomore defender Alyson Brown. Brown has seen significant time in all 17 matches and has made 16 starts.
INJURY BUG
The Wolfpack has not played a single match this season with its entire first-choice starting eleven. At one point or another this season, injuries have limited the time of nine different student athletes.
FIFTH IN THE LEAGUE
Sophomore goalkeeper Mackenzie Stelljes ranks fifth in the Atlantic Coast Conference this season with 62 saves. She is averaging 4.42 stops per appearance.
SERIES HISTORY
-Saturday's match marks the 26th all-time meeting between NC State and Clemson.
-The Tigers hold a 15-6-4 lead in the series.
-The two teams met in Raleigh on Oct. 13 of last season, a match which Clemson narrowly won by a final score of 1-0.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
-Clemson enters Saturday's match the owner of a 12-3-2 record which includes a 5-3-1 mark in ACC play.
-The Tigers are currently ranked No. 21 in the nation in the latest NSCAA poll.
