Wolfpack Women Tabbed 19th in First CSCAA Poll of Season

The rankings are released biweekly throughout the season and are voted on by nine CSCAA-member coaches and one media member.
Overall, four teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) are listed in the rankings, including UNC-Chapel Hill (No. 5), Louisville (No. 9), NC State (No. 19) and Florida State (No. 25).
After finishing 16th overall in the 2014 NCAA Championships, the Wolfpack women are off to a strong start this season, as the squad has participated in three meets. The team won the All-North Carolina Invitational to open the season, while finishing in the top five at last weekend’s SMU Invite in Texas. With nine members of the squad in Texas, State competed against the 2013 and 2014 NCAA Champion Georgia in its first dual meet of the season.
The first CSCAA poll of the season for the men’s rankings is scheduled to be announced on Thursday, Oct. 30.
The Wolfpack men’s and women’s squad will travel to Atlanta, Ga., to compete in a tri-meet against Georgia Tech and Florida State on Saturday, Oct. 25. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
