#PackFooty Hosts Pink Match, No. 5 Louisville

NC State (3-4-2, 0-2-1 ACC) men's soccer faces No. 5 Louisville (5-2-1, 3-0) on Friday night at Dail Soccer Stadium, the first of the Pack's three remaining home conference matches with teams ranked inside the nation's top ten.
PACKFOOTY NEWS & NOTES
State enters the match following a 3-1 loss at the hands of No. 25 Coastal Carolina. The Wolfpack offense has now scored in each of its last eight contests, but the defense will need to respond if NC State plans to pull the upset. Over 490 minutes of play in the Pack's five combined wins and ties, State has allowed just one goal.
SCOUTING REPORT
Louisville enters the match coming off of a shocking 1-0 loss to Ohio State on Wednesday night. The Cardinals had won their previous four matches, including a 4-1 win against Pitt and a 5-0 shellacking of Duke. Louisville opened its season with a 1-0 win against No. 2 Maryland.
The Cardinals rank as highly as fifth in the country, according to Soccer America and College Soccer News. Louisville sits ninth in Top Drawer's poll and sixth according to the NSCAA.
PROMOTIONAL SLATE
Pink wristbands and shakers will be distributed at entrances while supplies last, and halftime will feature survivor recognition in the Dail Soccer Stadium stands. Friday's match is also a Student Wolfpack Club event.
