NC State men's soccer opens Atlantic Coast Conference play on Friday at 7 p.m., hosting Pittsburgh at Dail Soccer Stadium.
The Wolfpack (1-0) kicked off its 2013 campaign last Friday with a 2-0 win at Campbell. Senior goalkeeper Fabian Otte recorded his ninth career shutout in the contest, collecting five saves.
A pair of newcomers provided the scoring punch for State, freshman Davi Ramos scored the first goal of the game, and junior transfer Clement Simonin contributed a match-clinching header in the 55th minute.
The Pack owns a 1-1 all-time record against Pitt, but for the first time, the teams will meet in ACC play. The Panthers (0-0-2) enter the weekend with ties against Oakland and Longwood.
Friday's game will be streamed live for free on GoPack All-Access. Fans can also follow along with live stats on GoPack.com, or on Twitter via @PackMensSoccer.
