Raleigh Ranked as America's Best City

Raleigh, N.C., home of NC State University, is the Best City in the U.S. according to Businessweek.com. The site evaluated a variety of quality-of-life metrics to find a city that “offered a wealth of culture, entertainment, good schools, low crime, and plenty of green space” and OUR STATE’S capital came out on top.

“Raleigh shows the cultural graces that go along with anchoring the ...Research Triangle,” according to the site, which also touted Raleigh’s 867 restaurants, 51 museums, good schools, 12,512 park acres and “thriving social scene.”
