Volleyball Opens Fall Practice

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State volleyball team held its first official practice for the 2013 season Friday morning at the Carmichael Gymnasium adjacent to Reynolds Coliseum.

The Wolfpack returns nine letter winners from last season’s squad that advanced to the NCAA Tournament and finished tied for fourth in the ACC. State also welcomes six newcomers, one transfer and five freshmen. 

NC State opens the season by participating in a tournament at Canisius College where Bryan Bunn’s team will take on the host Griffs in the opener Friday, Aug. 30 at 4 p.m.
