Raleigh, N.C. - Bowling Green State University will introduce Chris Kingston as its new athletic director on Monday. Kingston has been a member of NC State's senior athletic staff since August 2010, serving as Executive Senior Associate Director since 2011.
"Chris has been one of the most productive senior staff members with whom I have ever worked," said Wolfpack Director of Athletics Deborah A. Yow. "I thank him for his many contributions to our ongoing upward movement as a program and congratulate him on this well-deserved opportunity."
At State, Kingston has assisted with the day-to-day operations of the football and men's basketball programs, along with overseeing external initiatives, athletic branding and multimedia rights.
Commissioned as an Army second lieutenant upon graduation from Central Florida in 1994, Kingston also spent four years as associate AD at Army. He replaces Greg Christopher, who left BGSU for Xavier in March.
