After finishing second in the junior women's 100-meter hurdles just one day prior, freshman Alexis Perry garnered her second silver medal in as many days with a 19' 4.00" (5.89m) measurement in the junior women's long jump Friday afternoon. The mark was just three inches shy of matching her personal best.

In the women's 1,500-meter prelims, newcomer Megan Moye finished third in the second heat, and posted the eighth-fastest time at 4:42.05, earning the right to line up in Saturday's championship race at 3:02 p.m. (ET).
Freshman Ariah Graham also had an outstanding showing in the junior women's 400-meter dash with a third-place finish, crossing the finish line in a season-best time of 53.57 in the first preliminary race.
