RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State track & field team will send athletes to the Kent Taylor Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C., and the UCF Invitational in Orlando, Fla., this Friday and Saturday, Mar. 22-23.

The Wolfpack will send its throwers to UCF, while a group of runners will compete at UNC.

The NC State throwers opened the season at the 49er Classic in Charlotte, N.C., where redshirt sophomore Tremanisha Taylor won the women's discus and women's shot put. Redshirt junior Nathaniel Williams took second place in the men's discus and redshirt freshman Nicole Chavis finished second in the women's hammer throw.
