Women's Tennis Hosts Brown Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State women's tennis team returns to action Saturday, Mar. 16, when it hosts Ivy League opponent Brown at 1 p.m., at the Curtis and Jacqueline Dail Outdoor Tennis Stadium.
Saturday's matchup will be the first between NC State and Brown in program history.
Last Time Out:
The Wolfpack suffered its first setback of the season in a tight, 4-2 decision, Thursday evening against Virginia Commonwealth.
Scouting Brown:
Brown enters Saturday's matchup with a 4-4 record on the year. The Bears have lost two of their last three contests, and will take on Virginia Commonwealth Friday afternoon.
NC State Notes:
- The Wolfpack is 9-0 this season when it wins the doubles point. In dual matches, the squad is a combined 22-4 (.846) in doubles matches.
- Senior Chloe Smith is undefeated in dual singles matches this season with a perfect 9-0 record playing in the No. 6 spot.
- Senior Tatiana Illova has won five-straight singles matches and owns a 9-1 mark on the year. Illova is a perfect 5-0 playing at the No. 2 spot in the lineup.
- Junior Joelle Kissell is 9-1 in dual singles matches and 5-4 against ranked opponents. Kissell has collected all of her wins while playing in the No. 1 spot.
