Wrestling Travels to Appalachian State for Two Duals

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State wrestling team will return to action Thursday night, as the Wolfpack travels to Boone, N.C., to take on Appalachian State and Cleveland State in a pair of duals. The Pack (5-1) will face Cleveland State (1-3) at 6:30 p.m., and then the host Mountaineers (2-3) at 8 p.m.
NC State was last in action on Dec. 7, taking ninth place at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational. The Pack finished ahead of four ranked squads, and three wrestlers placed in the top-seven.
Thus far, the Pack is 5-1 in duals having downed Gardner-Webb (37-0), Lindsey Wilson (34-12), UNC Pembroke (39-6), Buffalo (31-7) and Binghamton (27-9). The lone loss was a 26-15 defeat to No. 14 Illinois.
