Wolfpack Competes at Three Stripe Invitational

CARY, N.C. - The NC State men's and women's cross country teams hosted the Three Stripe Red-Shirt Invitational Saturday morning at the WakeMed Cross Country Course. The men's team posted a second place finish in their respective 5K race, while the women's team placed third.

State freshman Sebastian Hanson, running unattached, finished with a time of 14:45.7, the fastest on the men's side of the race. Fellow Wolfpack freshmen Bakri Aboshouk and Nick Link, also running unattached, totaled the third and fifth quickest times on the day, respectively, running at a pace of 15:01.8 for Aboshouk and 15:16.9 for Link.

Redshirt sophomore Vibushan Sivakumaran finished fourth overall for State with a time of 15:27.5.

On the women's side, State freshman Alyssa Rudawsky, running unattached, finished with the sixth-fastest result on the day with a time of 18:42.9. Olivia Enright came in just behind her with a pace of 18:46.1, to finish fourth overall in Saturday's event.
