Wolfpack Closes Out Fall Slate at CofC Halloween Challenge

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - The NC State women's tennis team wrapped up play at the College of Charleston Halloween Challenge at the College of Charleston Tennis Center in Mount Pleasant, S.C., winning two singles matches on the day to finish with a combined total of seven victories over the course of tournament play.
Natalia Janowicz defeated Charlotte Derbyshire of Denver, 6-4, 6-0 to finish the tournament 2-1 in singles play and 4-2 overall. Rachael James-Baker was also victorious on Sunday, claiming a win over Caroline Schnell of Denver, 6-2, 6-2 to finish 2-1 in singles play for the extent of the tournament.
The Wolfpack has now wrapped up the team portion of its fall schedule and will next appear on Jan. 24, 2014 versus North Carolina Central and East Carolina.
