CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The NC State women' tennis team lost both its matches on Saturday to end its tournament run in the USTA/ITA Carolina Regional at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.

The No. 2 ranked duo of Hayley Carter and Jamie Loeb of UNC defeated Elisha Hande and Nicole Martinez, 8-1, putting Hande and Martinez's tournament run to an end in the Round of 16. Joelle Kissell, who advanced to the Round of 32 in singles play, fell to Ximena Styles of South Carolina, 6-4, 0-6, 6-2 in the main singles draw.
