Men's Track & Field Ranked 17th in USTFCCCA Poll

NEW ORLEANS - The NC State men's track & field program is ranked 17th in they country according to the first U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s (USTFCCCA) preseason computer projections of the 2013 season. The rankings are based largely on the top returners from each school and early performances from this season.
After kicking off the season with one full-team meet at the JDL Fast Track Kick-Off in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Dec. 1, the Wolfpack recorded numerous first place and top-three finishes across the events, before redshirt senior Ryan Hill took first place in the 5,000m invitational run at the Hoosier Open on Dec. 7 with a time of 13:43.52.
After more than a month's break, NC State will return to action Jan. 18-19 at the Hokie Invitational in Blacksburg, Va.
