No. 19 Gymnastics Travels to New Hampshire

RALEIGH, N.C. - The 19th-ranked NC State gymnastics team will travel to the University of New Hampshire on Friday, Jan. 18 to compete against the Wildcats. The meet is slated to begin at 7 p.m. in Lundholm Gymnasium.
The Wolfpack enters Friday's meet with a record of 0-1-1, while the Wildcats come in at 1-1. Last time out, the Pack tied Maryland with a final team score of 195.000. The tie was the first for State since the 2005 season. New Hampshire fell on the road to Central Michigan, 195.050-193.100, in its last outing.
Junior Diahanna Ham was a bright spot for the Wolfpack in the meet, recording the top score on floor and in the all-around. Ham also scored a 9.9 on vault, to claim second in the event. The Boston, Mass., native was rewarded for her efforts, being named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week.
NC State sports a team average (used for ranking) of 194.988, which ranks as the 19th highest scoring average in the country. The Pack is also among the top-20 in team scoring average on beam, floor and vault.
