Ham Tabbed EAGL Gymnast of the Week

DURHAM, N.H. - NC State junior gymnast Diahanna Ham has been selected as the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week, according to an announcement by the conference office on Tuesday. 

The selection comes as the third weekly honor Ham has received during her tenure with the Wolfpack, after receiving the EAGL Specialist of the Week Award last year and EAGL Rookie of the Week award as a freshman. 

The Boston, Mass., native led the Pack against Maryland with the top score on vault, floor and the all-around. Ham scored a 9.9 on vault and a 9.875 on floor, good for first in both events. The junior also finished the night with the best score in the all-around competition with a score of 39.125. Ham notched a 9.675 on beam and bars. 

NC State will return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, when it travels to the University of New Hampshire.
