No. 17 NC State travels to Clemson this Friday for a 7 p.m. kickoff in its first ACC road contest of the season.
The Wolfpack (6-2) looks to rebound from a two-game skid that started one week ago with a home loss to No. 1 Maryland. State followed that performance by being shut out for the first time this year in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Campbell.
Leading the Pack into Clemson (1-5-2) will be junior Alex Martinez, whose seven goals in 2012 hold a share of the national lead.
Martinez currently holds a three goal advantage over his nearest ACC competition, and leads the conference by a margin of eight points.
Monbo Bokar and Zarbale Kollie also appear among the ACC's top-10 goalscorers, coming in tied for sixth with three each.
Friday's match will mark the 54th meeting between Clemson and NC State. The Wolfpack trails 14-32-7 in the all-time series. State's last win in the series came in 2008, which is also the last time the Pack claimed a road win over the Tigers.
Kick off for Friday is slated for 7 p.m. Fans can follow Twitter updates from @PackMensSoccer, streaming coverage and live stats will be available on GoPack.com.
