Martinez Lands College Soccer News Weekly Award

College Soccer News Team of the Week

NC State's Alex Martinez earned a spot on CollegeSoccerNews.com's National Team of the Week on Monday for his efforts over the weekend.

Martinez scored twice in No. 20 NC State's road victory against UNC Greensboro, before adding another in a 3-1 decision over Marist on Sunday. The wins improve State's record to 6-0, which represents the best start for the program since 1982.

This honor marks the second week in a row that Martinez has been recognized. The junior transfer leads the Pack in both goals (5) and assists (4) this season.
