Join the Pack at Packapalooza

Raleigh, N.C. - NC State University will kick off the year-long celebration of the 125th anniversary of its founding on Saturday with an all-day festival called Packapalooza on Hillsborough Street.
The athletics department will occupy a prominent spot at the festivities, with several varsity teams and coaches on hand to sign autographs and meet with celebrants throughout the day.
The NC State Marching Band kicks off the event at 1:45 p.m. on Hillsborough Street. Specialty and merchandise tents will be located from Pogue Street to the Memorial Belltower.
At 7:30 p.m., Athletics will take over the main stage in front of the Belltower, with videos and appearances from Wolfpack coaches Tom O'Brien and Elliott Avent and Director of Athletics, Debbie Yow.
At other times, the Wolfpack women's basketball, women's soccer, volleyball, gymnastics and baseball teams will be on hand in the Wolfpack Zone, located in the parking lot in front of North Residence Hall, signing autographs.
Tuffy, NC State's live mascot, will make an appearance at the Memorial Belltower at 3:30 p.m.
