State Earns Bid To NCAA Regional in Ann Arbor

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State men's golf team will make its 38th appearance in NCAA postseason play after being selected Monday night as the No. 10 seed at the Ann Arbor Regional that will be conducted May 17-19 at University of Michigan Golf Course.
NC State earns its 20th trip to the NCAA Regionals since the format was changed back in 1989. That stretch includes 13 appearances in the last 15 years, all under the direction of head coach Richard Sykes.
The NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Regional is a preliminary round of the NCAA Division I Men’s Championship. The Ann Arbor Regional will consist of a 54-hole tournament with 13 teams and 10 individual players. The low five teams and low individual not on those five teams will advance to the NCAA Championship that runs May 29-June 3 at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
