No. 19 Wolfpack Awaits Weekend Visit from Duke

RALEIGH, N.C. - No. 19 NC State tangles with Duke in an ACC clash over three days this weekend, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Doak Field at Dail Park. Game two takes place Saturday at 6:30 p.m., and Sunday's finale gets started at 1 p.m.
Chris Diaz leads the Pack (27-12, 13-8 ACC) offense after accumulating seven doubles, 12 RBIs, and nine runs scored over his last five games, while batting .565.
Duke (16-26, 7-14 ACC) defeated Charlotte 12-5 on Tuesday. First baseman Mike Rosenfield hit a pair of home runs in the game to extend his career-high hitting streak to 14 games.
Anthony Tzamtzis (4-3, 3.06 ERA) meets righthander Marcus Stroman (4-3, 2.22) Friday. Saturday's matchup pits reigning ACC Pitcher of the Week Carlos Rodon (7-0, 1.23) against lefty Trent Swart (3-6, 4.35). On Sunday, Logan Jernigan (4-1, 4.93) takes the mound opposite righthander Robert Huber (4-4, 4.47).
On Friday, Wolfpack fans can enjoy Baseball Bingo on Youth Baseball Day, with free admission for all youth baseball players (and one family member) who attend the game wearing their youth baseball uniform.
The first 500 fans to arrive Friday will receive free NC State pennants, and the first 100 NC State students will receive free NC State t-shirts as part of Preiss Co. Free Tee Friday.
Saturday marks Military Appreciation Day, with free admission to military personnel with ID, and $3 admission to military guests. Saturday's game ball will be parachuted into the stadium by the Black Daggers. Military displays and games will take place on Lee Field before the game. A special recognition will be given to WWII veterans, Wounded Warriors, and military personnel in attendance.
On Saturday, the first 500 fans will receive trading card set #5, and free pizza will be provided to all NC State students by Domino's.
Baseball Baby Day takes place Sunday, with free admission for parents who bring a baby two years of age or younger. Kids have the opportunity to run the bases at Doak Field at Dail Park after the game.
