Soccer Programs to Host Grassroot Soccer 3v3 Tournament

NC State Soccer/SAAC is hosting a Grassroot Soccer 3v3 tournament on Saturday, April 28th, 2012 at The Wolfpack Training Complex (Turf Field)/(Former Upper Miller Field). All funds raised benefit Grassroot Soccer (GRS), an international nonprofit that uses the power of soccer to save lives by preventing the spread of HIV among those with the most new infections—youth in Africa.
WHO: NC State Students Only (Undergraduate or Graduate)
WHAT: NC State Grassroot Soccer 3v3 Tournament (Two Leagues: Men’s and Coed)
WHEN: Saturday, April 28th
WHERE: Wolfpack Training Complex (Turf Field)/(Former Upper Miller Field)
WHY: Play Soccer. Save Lives.
REGISTRATION FEE: $15 per player; $20 includes a Grassroot Soccer Dri-Fit Nike Shirt
"Grassroot Soccer is thrilled that NC State is hosting their first Grassroot Soccer 3v3 Tournament,” said Tori Pinckney, Development Manager & Director of Soccer Fundraisers for Grassroot Soccer. “These tournaments are a great way to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in the local college community as well as raise funds to support Grassroot Soccer's goal of educating 1 million youth in Africa about how to live AIDS-free, healthy, productive lives.”
