Twelve Wolfpack Gymnasts Named to EAGL All-Academic Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.-- Twelve of North Carolina State's gymnasts have been selected to the 2012 East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) All-Academic Team, announced by the league office on Monday.
The Wolfpack had four seniors to receive the honor: Anna Kronenfeld, Jess Panza, Becca Teich, and Jackie Yanchocik. Morgan Johnson and Rachel Fincham are the two juniors, with Fincham's selection being her third in as many years. Sophomores include Emily Anderson, Hannah Fallanca, Kristen Harabedian, and Ellen Marion who are all two time selections. Lane Jarred and Megan Kurdelmeier round out the selections for the Pack as freshman.
A whopping 99 gymnasts were selected to this years team from the eight member schools, with New Hampshire and Rutgers leading the way with 15 selections each.
The EAGL All-Academic team is composed of the student- athletes that have maintained a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better. Freshmen are eligible to receive the selection if they achieved a 3.0 or better during the fall semester.
Awards will be presented to the honorees at the 2012 EAGL Championship Banquet that will be held Friday, March 23 in Pittsburgh, Pa.
