RALEIGH, N.C. - After last weekend's successful trip to Myrtle Beach, NC State heads back to the coast for four games in Wilmington, N.C. this weekend against UNC Asheville and UNC Wilmington.
The Wolfpack (6-2) tangles with UNC Asheville (6-3) at noon Friday and Saturday, before battling UNC Wilmington (2-6) in the second half of Saturday's double header at 4 p.m. and again at 4 p.m. in Sunday's finale.
NC State plans to throw Anthony Tzamtzis (0-0, 7.71 ERA) in game one against Asheville's Dean Roland (2-0, 2.70 ERA). In the Saturday game, Asheville will throw Ryan Dull (2-0, 2.31 ERA) against NC State's Logan Jernigan (2-0, 2.70 ERA) fresh off of five no-hit innings against West Virginia in his last outing.
UNC Wilmington's ace left-hander Mat Batts (0-1, 1.29 ERA) squares off against Carlos Rodon (1-0, 0.69 ERA) in what's sure to be Saturday's highly-anticipated capper. On Sunday, Ethan Ogburn (1-1, 0.75 ERA) goes against Wilmington's Jordan Ramsey (0-0, 6.35 ERA) to close the weekend.
All four games will be played at UNC Wilmington's Brooks Field. Radio coverage for the weekend will be provided by 88.1 WKNC, fans can follow live updates from @NCStateBaseball, and live stats will be available at GoPack.com.
