No. 21 Wolfpack Hosts Sweetheart Invitational Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C.-- NC State gymnastics will host their annual Sweetheart Invitational which will feature teams from Penn State, William & Mary, and George Washington. The meet will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday February 11.
The Wolfpack will also be sponsoring "Flip for a Cure" to raise awareness for breast cancer. All youth ages 17 & under will receive free admission to the meet. All fans are encouraged to wear pink. In addition to the free gymnastics t-shirts, pink pom-poms will also be distributed before the meet on a first come first served basis.
NC State will look to build off of their last performance in which the Wolfpack recorded their best team score of the season with a 195.225 against No. 17 Missouri. The Wolfpack set new season highs on vault and beam in the meet.
Wolfpack gymnasts Lane Jarred and Morgan Johnson both set new career highs in the meet and look to build off of those performances.
Penn State enters the weekend ranked 10th nationally with a record of 3-0.
