RALEIGH, N.C.-- NC State gymnastics will host conference opponent New Hampshire on Friday, February 17. The meet is slated to begin at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Coliseum. At the meet, a raffle will be held for three pairs of tickets for the men's basketball game against UNC on February 21. Raffle tickets can be purchased in the lobby between 6:00 and 7:00, and the three winners will be announced randomly throughout the match.
The Wolfpack is currently ranked first in the EAGL conference and first on vault, beam, and floor in conference rankings. NC State has also climbed two spots in the national rankings to 19th from 21st in last week's polls, according to troester.com.
State will look to build off momentum from its last meet in which the Wolfpack set new season-highs in every event at the Sweetheart Invitational. The Pack saw its greatest increase on beam, jumping from a 48.650 to a 49.275 an improvement of .625.
At the Sweetheart Invitational, five Wolfpack gymnasts set new career-highs and another tied a career-high. Sophomore Diahanna Ham not only set a new career-high, but also tied the school record with a 9.95 on vault. Senior Jess Panza scored 9.9s on beam and floor to lead the Pack in both events.
Live stats and video are available for the event on GoPack.com. Highlights and a full recap will be posted at the conclusion of Friday's event.
