Weather Suspends Play At The Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Saturday's second-round action at the Landfall Tradition has been suspended due to heavy rainfall and high winds in the area from Hurricane Sandy.
When play was halted, the NC State women's golf team was in 11th place after nine holes at 28-over par. Sophomore Augusta James was the top Wolfpack individual player at 4-over par on day with nine holes played.
The 54-hole event is being held at par-72, 6,138-yard Jack Nicklaus Course at the Country Club of Landfill.
Play is tentatively scheduled to resume on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
