NC State plays its fourth ACC road game of the season Thursday night at Clemson beginning at 7 p.m., at Littlejohn Coliseum. The Wolfpack has won its last two games, including Monday's victory at Wake Forest.
Senior forward Bonae Holston has enjoyed great individual success against the Tigers in four previous meetings, averaging 21.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. That includes a 29-point, 13-rebound performance last season in a 76-74 loss at home.
Sophomore Kody Burke played a vital role in the 75-66 win against the Demon Deacons last time out with 26 points, eight rebounds, four blocks, three steals and two assists in a season-high 36 minutes. Along with Holston's 17 points and 10 boards, the Wolfpack frontcourt dominated Wake all night long in the victory.
Holston recorded her fifth double-double of the season, and the 23rd of her career. Meanwhile, Burke has now scored 20 or more points twice this season, and in double figures on 11 occasions. That ranks third on the club behind Marissa Kastanek (15) and Holston (14) for games with 10 or more points this year.
