The Wolfpack will look to continue the momentum it built last time out with a convincing 80-57 victory over Boston College at home this past Thursday. Meanwhile, Wake Forest is coming off a four-point, 71-67 setback at the hands of Georgia Tech.
State is 25-6 all-time against the Deacs in Winston-Salem. However, the last few years have been extremely close calls with two of the last three meetings going to overtime - each team brought home a win in the two extra session contests.
Last time out against the Eagles, Marissa Kastanek and Bonae Holston combined for 40 points and 19 rebounds. Kastanek joined the 1,000-point club that evening as she led the team with 21 points, while Holston had 19 and a season-high 15 rebounds, one short of her career-best total.
NC State remains on the road for the fourth time already in conference play to take on Clemson Thursday at 7 p.m., in Clemson, S.C. The next home game takes place next Sunday against North Carolina at 1 p.m., and will also be shown on RSN.
