Baseball Rained Out In Charlottesville

NC State's game Friday at Virginia was rained out and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The weatherman said it would rain in Charlottesville, and rain it did, forcing the cancellation of Friday night’s college baseball game between NC State and Virginia.

The game, the first of a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference series, will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday. The first game will begin at 1 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on WKNC-FM (88.1) and will be available on-line on GoPack.com’s All-Access package. The first game will be the ACC’s TV Game of the Week. Check your local listings. The second game will begin approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
