
Women's Golf Finishes Seventh at ACC Championship

The NC State women’s golf team finished seventh at the 2011 ACC Championship, as the Pack finished at 85-over (937). Freshman Brittany Marchand was the Pack’s top finisher, as she placed 17th at 17-over 230.
Freshman Ana Menendez just missed a top 20 showing, as she was 21st at 19-over 232. Sophomore Amanda Baker finished at 22-over 235.
Senior Brooke Baker shot a 29-over 242 for the tournament, while redshirt sophomore Caroline Ellington was at 32-over 245.
North Carolina easily won the team title, as the Tar Heels finished at 23-over (875) and won the championship by 24 strokes. Cheyenne Woods of Wake Forest earned medalist honors, as she was the only golfer to finish under par, winning the ACC Championship by seven strokes at 5-under (208).
