Volleyball Concludes Spring Season

GREENSBORO, N.C. - NC State volleyball concluded its spring season Saturday, April 16 at UNCG in a one-day tournament. The Wolfpack compiled an 8-0 game record, earning victories over Elon, Catawba College, High Point and UNCG.

"It was a very productive spring," said Head Coach Bryan Bunn. "We saw tremendous improvement in our blocking, defense and ball control. With only seven players, we competed very well and saw a number of great things with everyone who will be back for us next fall."

After a spring season of hard work and challenging practices, the Pack will hang it up until August when the squad returns to campus in preparation for the 2011 regular season. NC State opens up play at the Appalachian State tournament in Boone, N.C. on August 26 against the Mountaineers.
