RALEIGH, N.C. --- 32nd-ranked NC State women’s tennis nearly completed a dramatic comeback, but fell 4-3 to 20th-ranked Georgia Tech Saturday in Pullen Park.
The Pack (10-4, 1-3 ACC) dropped the doubles point, and trailed 3-1 after the first three singles matches went final, but rallied back to tie the match at 3-3 before Georgia Tech (9-5, 2-1 ACC) clinched on the final match.
Joelle Kissell and Ashley Miller scored the Pack’s only doubles victory of the day, an 8-4 decision against Lynn Blau and Christine Lilley.
