RALEIGH, N.C. --- Pack gymnastics hosts its senior day against George Washington this Sunday, February 27 at 2 p.m.
NC State returns to Reynolds Coliseum after traveling to ninth-ranked UCLA last week, a meet that featured three 9.9s by Pack gymnasts Brooke Barr and Stephanie Ouellette.
On Sunday, NC State will honor its three senior gymnasts:
Amy DePasquale, Marlton, N.J. (Cherokee)
DePasquale has spent four years with the Wolfpack as a walk-on athlete. As she has developed her gymnastic skills, DePasquale has also excelled in the classroom, ranking in the top-10 amongst student athletes at NC State, academically.
Brittney Hardiman, Apopka, Fla. (The Trinity School)
The 2008 EAGL Rookie of the Year, Hardiman has enjoyed an illustrious career with the Pack, racking up 13 total All-EAGL mentions in three years. Last season, Hardiman scored All-EAGL first team selections on vault and the all-around, a second team pick on beam, and EAGL All-Tournament nods in vault, bars, floor, and all-around. Hardiman is an ACC Honor Roll student, an EAGL All-Academic honoree, and was named a Scholastic All-American by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women.
Brittany Vontz, Lincoln, Neb. (Lincoln Southwest)
EAGL Co-champion on the uneven bars in 2009, Vontz has collected three career All-EAGL second team mentions in the event and four career EAGL All-Tournament selections. A recipient of the 2011 ACC Post-Graduate scholarship, Vontz has also earned three EAGL All-Academic mentions and has been included on the ACC Honor Roll.
Senior day festivities will take place before Sunday's meet. The meet will be broadcast on GoPack All-Access and live scoring will be provided at GoPack.com.
