RALEIGH, N.C. --- 31st-ranked NC State women's tennis hosts Old Dominion this Friday, February 25 at Isenhour Tennis Center at 4 p.m. The meet was originally scheduled for Pullen Park, but has been moved to Isenhour Tennis Center because of adverse weather.
Coming off of a pair of road wins over #75 Minnesota and BYU last weekend, the Pack has risen in the national rankings to #31.
NC State has recently relied on the doubles play of Lenka Hojckova and Tatiana Illova. The tandem stepped into the number one role in the Pack's 4-3 win over Minnesota, and remained undefeated for the spring season with an 8-4 win. Dating back to the fall, Illova and Hojckova have amassed an 11-2 record together.
In singles play, 23rd-ranked Sanaa Bhambri is expected to lead the way, but the Pack's freshmen Christy Sipes and Joelle Kissell have been integral to NC State's success with a combined 12-0 singles record this spring.
Free pizza will be available to all fans in attendance, and the first 50 spectators to arrive will receive free t-shirts.
