Farmville, Va. - NC State steps out of conference for the final time in 2011 to take on Longwood on Friday, Oct. 7 in Farmville, Va. The first ever meeting between the two schools kicks off at 7 p.m. from the Athletics Complex.

The Pack's strong season so far has resulted in the club being ranked No. 27 in the latest NCAA Women's Soccer RPI, a key component in the selection process for the NCAA Tournament selection committee.
Freshman Stephanie Bronson leads the club with 14 points on six goals and two assists, while seniors Alex Berger and Tanya Cain have contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Senior Kim Kern leads the ACC with 72 saves and her 1.12 goals-against-average and five shutouts are among the league leaders.
Scouting Longwood
The Lancers are coming off a 2-1 win on Sept. 25 against South Carolina State. Kelsey Pardue leads the club with nine points, and Kacie Oliver has scored a team-high four goals.
Goalie Kyra Byron owns a 0.99 goals-against-average with three shutouts.

NC State will host four of its final five games on campus at Dail Soccer Field beginning with next Thursday's 7 p.m., tilt with Virginia. The Pack will also host Virginia Tech next Sunday at 1 p.m.
