Bowl Game MVPs to Appear in Fan Zone this Saturday

Opening at 12:30 p.m. outside of the North End Zone on the front lawn of the RBC Center, Fan Zone will be packed full of activities for Wolfpack fans of all ages to enjoy. As we countdown to kickoff, make sure you arrive to Carter-Finley Stadium early this Saturday to participate in interactive games, enjoy live music and visit with Mr. and Ms. Wuf in Fan Zone.
Taking the stage to begin the afternoon is the band Boomerang. Hailing from the Triangle and having performed throughout the state, Boomerang will be sure to keep everyone on their feet with a mix of popular rock, funk and party tunes.
Beginning at 1:30 p.m., several past bowl game MVPs will be in attendance signing autographs and offering photograph opportunities. Stop by to show your support for former Wolfpack standout football players while celebrating NC State bowl history. The first 2,000 fans to the autograph session will receive a commemorative Bowl Day poster.
Stay updated on college football scores around the country as Time Warner Cable broadcasts the day's top games live on the huge LED screen. As part of Time Warner Cable's Pack Pics promotion, Wolfpack fans can also have their pictures taken and uploaded to the Carter-Finley Stadium video board.
Be sure to check out the trailer full of interactive displays from the U.S. National Whitewater Center, the world's premier outdoor adventure and environmental education center, and learn more about the activities throughout the USNWC.
Leith Volkswagen will be on-site displaying their newest vehicles straight from the showroom. While you're there, try your luck on the prize wheel for a chance to win coozies, t-shirts and more while supplies last.
Stop by for autographs and have your picture taken with the NC State Volleyball team as they enter the second-half of their 2011 season.
Unable to make it to Fan Zone this Saturday? Make sure you visit the ESPN Jeep Tour Located in the Fairgrounds Parking Lot at the corner of Trinity Road and Blue Ridge Road. Starting at 10:30 a.m. and FREE for everyone, ESPN and Jeep will be offering the Ultimate Tailgating Experience. Take a ride on the Off Road Course in one of Jeep's 2012 models, listen to the tunes of DJ Legacy and enter to win a 2012 Jeep Wrangler PLUS a Complete College Bowl Experience.
