Bronson Ranks Among Top Freshman Nationally

Freshman forward Stephanie Bronson has been named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's 2011 Women's Freshman National Top 100 list.

Bronson, a local from Raleigh, checks in at No. 38 among the best first-year players in the nation.

She leads the club in scoring with 15 points with six goals and three assists.She recorded a goal in four-straight games midway through the season. That stretch included a two-goal performance against North Florida.

She also tallied a goal in the 201 setback against Wake Forest in late September.

NC State finished the regular season with a 10-8-2 mark, the best record under third-year head coach Steve Springthorpe.
