Wolfpack Intercollegiate Live Scoring
Raleigh, N.C. - N C State is in sixth place at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate tournament on the par-71, 7,358-yard Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Monday.
The Wolfpack placed ninth after the first round with a 12-over 296, but improved in the second round with a 4-over 288, for a 36-hole total of 16-over 584.
Memphis leads the 16-team tournament through the second round with a 3-over 571. Louisiana-Lafayette is three shots back at 574, and Campbell is in third at 575.
NC State's top two scorers are Graham Baillargeon, with a 2-under 140 and Albin Choi with a 1-under 141. Baillargeon, who is playing as an individual, started tied for first after the first round with a 3-under 68, but shot a 1-over 72 in the second round and is in sixth place overall. Choi shot a 72 in the opening round, but finished at 2-under 69 in the second round and is tied for 7th with 18 holes to play.
UNCG's Robert Hoadley leads the tournament with a 5-under 137. Hoadley shot rounds of 68 and 69 to grab a one-shot lead over J.T. Poston of Western Carolina, who began the second round tied for the lead with Baillargeon.
NC State freshman Andrew Decker and senior Chad Day finished tied for 26th with a 5-over 147. Decker finished the first round with a 2-over 73 and had a 3-over 74 in the second round. Day finished the first round with a 4-over 75 and had a 1-over 72 in the second round.
Senior Mark McMillen, playing as an individual, is tied for 39th with a 7-over 149.
