Pack Wraps Up Fall Season This Weekend in Wilmington

RALEIGH, N.C. - 13th-ranked NC State joins five other top-25 squads at the 10th Annual Landfall Tradition at the Country Club of Landfall's Jack Nicklaus course this weekend, beginning Friday.
The Wolfpack enters its final tournament of the fall season ranked higher than ever before, coming in at 13th according to Golfstat, 14th in the latest Golf World coaches' poll, and 16th in the Golfweek Sagarin rankings.
Freshman Augusta James climbed to 36th-nationally in Golfweek's individual rankings on account of her runner-up finish at the prestigious Tar Heel Invitational.
Joining James in Wilmington will be Brittany Marchand, Ana Menendez, Vivian Tsui, and Amanda Baker.
No. 3 Auburn and No. 4 North Carolina represent the Pack's toughest competition on the par 72, 6,208 yard layout, but marquee names like No. 12 Duke, No. 23 Virginia, and No. 25 Ohio State also lurk in the field.
Outside of the top-25, Chattanooga, Florida State, Iowa State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Purdue, South Carolina, Tulane, and Wake Forest wrap up the 18-team field.
Three of the top-10 individual players in the nation will be on hand, No. 2 Lindy Duncan of Duke, No. 5 Carlie Yadloczky of Auburn, and No. 7 Marta Sanz, the Auburn senior who outlasted James at the Tar Heel Invitational.
