Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Fresh off a 2-1 overtime victory over Clemson on Thursday night, the postseason push continues Sunday at Boston College for the NC State women's soccer team. Kickoff is at 1 p.m., at Newton Soccer Field.
The Wolfpack, who sits in 10th in the ACC standings with five league points, needs to win its final two games to have a chance at making the ACC Championship.
Senior Tanya Cain scored in the extra session to take down Clemson earlier this week. She now is tied with freshman Stephanie Bronson for the team lead with six goals scored in 2011.
The match is part of ACC Sportsmanship Awareness Week, a campaign to emphasize and promote sportmanship as it relates to the league's teams, conference and fans. Every league team will showcase its continued dedication to sportsmanship by participating in a pregame handshake.
NC State returns home to host Duke in the season finale Thursday at 7 p.m. A brief ceremony will take place before the game for the six seniors on the squad.
