Kissell And Illova Advance At ITA Regional

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State continued play today at the ITA Carolina Regional in Chapel Hill, N.C. The Pack had a strong showing in the main draw singles, and also picked up a win in doubles action.
In the main draw singles round of 64, Joelle Kissell defeated Stephani Synn of Davidson, 6-0, 6-0, and teammate Tatiana Illova defeated Margaret Boyette of Furman, 6-0, 6-1.
Kissell and Ashley Miller advanced to the round of 16 in doubles competition, defeating the No. 5 seeded team of Jaklin Alawi and Dijana Stojic.
Play will resume tomorrow in Chapel Hill, N.C. Results will be posted on GoPack.com at the end of the day.
