Tallahassee, Fla. - NC State enters Sunday's match at No. 9 Florida State with consecutive ties in Atlantic Coast Conference play, both coming on the road against No. 9 Maryland last Sunday, and this past Thursday at Miami.
Freshman Cheyenne Spade gave the Wolfpack a 1-0 lead in the 80th minute against the Hurricanes, but the home team converted a penalty kick moments later to knot the game 1-all.
All 22 goals scored by NC State this season have come be either a senior (13) or a freshmen (9). Stephanie Bronson leads the club with six goals in her first season with the Pack. Seniors Alex Berger (5), Tanya Cain (4) and Kristina Argiroff (3) sit behind Bronson among team leaders in scoring.
Senior keeper Kim Kern has lowered her goals-against-average to 1.05 for the season after allowing just one goal over the last 220 minutes of play.
