Track & Field At UNC Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The NC State men's and women's indoor track and field teams will participate in their closest meet of the 2011 season Saturday, as they travel to Chapel Hill for the Kent Taylor-UNC Run For the Kids Invitational at the Eddie Smith Field House on the UNC campus.

Junior thrower Lawanda Henry, who has finished first or second in both the shot put and the weight throw in each of the Wolfpack's first three meets, will look to keep her streak alive for the Wolfpack women, while sprinter Ben Major participates in his first event since the season-opening Holiday Open at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va.

The day-long meet begins at 9 a.m. for field events at noon for track events. Final results will be posted Saturday evening on GoPack.com.
