RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team will be in home action for the first time this season, when the Wolfpack plays host to High Point on Thursday at 7:00 p.m., in an exhibition contest. Admission to the game will be free for all fans.
NC State is coming off a No. 23 final ranking from last season, a season in which the Pack advanced to the ACC Championship game and then the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Pack returns 14 starters to blend in with 15 newcomers. This year's recruiting class was just tabbed No. 19 nationally by CollegeSoccerNews.com.
NC State's season will begin over Labor Day weekend, when the Pack travels to Durham, N.C., to play in the Duke/Nike Classic. NC State will take on Sacramento State on Friday, September 3 at 5:00 p.m., and then face No. 20 Louisville on Sunday at noon.
